Our mission is to create a safe, supportive place where residents can build stability, dignity, and brighter futures. We serve veterans, reentry citizens, seniors, adults aging out of foster care, survivors of domestic violence, and people in recovery. Along with housing, we offer optional life skills, job readiness, and financial literacy support to help residents build stronger futures.

Our Mission
At Cedar & Iriis Homes, our mission is to provide safe and supportive housing in DFW for adults with disabilities who face barriers to stability. Like the cedar tree, we stand as a source of strength and stability. Like the iris flower, we represent renewal and new beginnings. We are committed to restoring dignity and fostering independence by offering secure housing, monthly groceries, and access to life skills, job readiness, and financial literacy programs. We believe that every person deserves not only a place to live but also the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.

Our homes are more than a roof over one’s head. As one of the trusted group homes for adults with disabilities in Dallas–Fort Worth, we provide monthly groceries and optional programs in life skills, job readiness, and financial literacy. Resident Support
Life Skills
We help residents strengthen everyday skills that build independence. From cooking and household management to communication and decision-making, our life skills programs prepare residents to live more confidently and self-sufficiently.

Job Readiness
Our job readiness support equips residents with the tools they need to succeed in the workforce. We focus on resume preparation, interview practice, workplace etiquette, and pathways to employment opportunities that fit each resident’s abilities.

Support Services
Beyond housing, we provide essential support like monthly groceries, financial literacy training, and connections to community resources. These services help residents reduce barriers, stabilize their lives, and move toward long-term independence.
